Former Syracuse forward Oshae Brissett will forgo his junior and senior seasons at Syracuse and enter the 2019 NBA Draft, he announced on Twitter Tuesday evening.

Brissett averaged 12.4 points and 7.5 rebounds in his sophomore year at Syracuse and was often one of the top-three scoring options on SU. Brissett participated in the NBA G League Elite Mini Camp with teammate Tyus Battle, who will also be eligible to be drafted this June, and earned an invite to the NBA Draft Combine.

At the Combine, Brissett measured with a 7-foot wingspan and recorded the lowest body fat percentage (2.9%) at the Combine since 2007.

Brissett is the fifth scholarship player to leave Syracuse from last season via the draft or graduation. He leaves behind a forwards group that includes sophomore Robert Braswell, junior Marek Dolezaj and incoming freshman Quincy Guerrier. There are currently seven forwards on SU’s roster for the 2019-2020 season.
