Magic Man, an alternative rock band, will headline Syracuse University’s first Bandersnatch Concert Series show of the spring semester, University Union announced on Twitter Sunday.

Indie artist Panama Wedding will be performing as direct support, according to a University Union press release. The show marks the first time University Union has brought a band to campus since Juice Jam 2014, and the first time a band has performed at Bandersnatch since March 2014.

The show will take place Wednesday, March 4 in Schine Underground at 8 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at Schine Box Office starting Monday and will cost $5 for Syracuse University and State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry students. A valid student ID is required to purchase tickets and to gain entry to the show.

Magic Man is an alternative rock band based in Providence, Rhode Island. The group started in 2010 with two members —Alex Caplow and Sam Vanderhood Lee — and grew into a full rock band with the additions of Justine Bowe, Daniel Radin and Joey Sulkowski. The band released the EP “You are Here” in 2013, followed by its major full-length release, “Before the Waves,” in 2014.

Panama Wedding is a synth-based pop band led by front-man Peter Kirk and based in New York City. The group released a reworked version of its song “All of the People” in 2013 and released its debut EP, “Parallel Play” in 2014.

Last semester, rapper GoldLink, deejay Trippy Turtle and EDM group Cash Cash were featured as part of UU’s Bandersnatch Concert Series.
